We would like to take a moment to thank all of our wonderful mums. Those on the fire ground, and those supporting us on the fire ground. You frequently have to reschedule or rearrange plans, so that we can go out and help protect our community. You always do it with understanding and love. Love you all xoxo

From Thursday till Sunday there will be a large amount of Hazard Reduction burn work being carried out across the Blue Mountains. From the foot of the Mountains to the top of the Mountains. Smoke will be visible from these burns. Smoke may settle during the nights. So a friendly reminder to close Windows and doors, monitor smoke conditions whilst hanging cloths out to dry. Lastly remember to call 000 if you see an unattended fire. Please see the other posts on Winmalee Rural Fire Brigade’s Facebook page for further/specific information on the Hazard Reduction Burns across the mountains.
