Winmalee Rural Fire Brigade added a new photo to the album: Incidents Winmalee RFB have attended.
Winmalee RFB working closely with elements of the 5th Brigade, Royal Australian Army. This picture is of them extinguishing 140 tons of burning mulch, at a local nursery.

If you do a search Michael Borg for the 5th Battalion Royal Australian Army you will find the information relating to the battalion assisting… Serving two tours in Vietnam before joining with the 7th Battalion in 1973..in 2006 the battalion was delinked once again becoming the 5 battalion RAR serving Iraq, Timor and Afghanistan… There motto is duty first and they have well and truly shown this whilst assisting our community we thank them
