At 5AM today Winmalee Pumper, 1B and RP445 responded to a report of a car alight along Yellow Rock Rd, Yellow Rock. After investigating the whole area of Yellow Rock, a stop was placed on the call as the address was for Yellow Rock Road, Albion Park.

Members of the Winmalee Rural Fire Brigade are again conducting their annual Doorknock. The funds raised from this year’s doorknock will go towards maintaining our readiness and preparedness for what is expected to be one of the tougher fire seasons in recent years, with some funds being set aside for future projects, such as the fitout of the coming Yellow Rock Station.

This week Winmalee RFB will be conducting there annual Callander drop and door knock. Members will be in yellows and any donations over $2 are tax deductible, members will be carrying official receipt books. Firefighters will also be able to answer any fire related questions u may have.

Today at 9 am, a member of Winmalee Rural Fire Brigade departed via Helicopter from St Columbus oval to assist in Air Operations for fires in the Singleton area. Winmalee PC assisted in the departure operations.
