Tonight Winmalee Pumper, 1A, RP445, T445 and NSW Police responded to a Shed fire. Whitecross Rd Winmalee. The fire was quickly knocked down.

Winmalee Rural Fire Brigade will be holding there open day this Saturday at Winmalee Shopping Village! Come see some fire trucks, get some bush fire survival information, get a free sausage sandwich or just chat to a firefighter. Free balloons. Bring the kids! See you there!

A total fire ban has been declared for the greater Sydney Region which includes the Blue Mountains. Hot north westerly winds are expected. Lighting off fires is prohibitited.

A crew from Winmalee RFB conducted a patrol of the Elmhurst HR today in Winmalee 1A. They were out from 10 am to 3.30 pm.
