Update:
Unfortunately this is being caused by an inversion layer that is pushing the smoke down, rather than letting it rise into the air. All the hazard reductions are National Parks and Wildlife Service. The RFS currently has units assisting the NPWS with this work. Hopefully the inversion will lift soon and the air will clear.

Today Winmalee 1A and numerouse other units responded to Glenbrook National Park to assist crews deal with some spot fires from the HAzard Reduction conducted today. Crews contained the spot fires and where on scene for 4 hours.
