Today Winmalee Pumper, 1A, 1B, PC, RP445 and T445 responded to a structure fire along Lee Rd, Winmalee. This fire was contained to a small part of the roof. Crews were on scene for an hour checking for fire extension and conducting salvage ops.

Last night numerous Members from Winmalee Rural Fire Brigade and members of other Blue Mountains RFS Brigades, were awarded thier National Medals and other long Service medals at a ceremony in Lawson. Last night Winmalee Pumper, 1B, RP445, T445, P98, Endevour Energy and Sydney Water responded to an AFA at the Winmalee STP. On arrival crews found the main power switching room had a fire in it. BA crews from FRNSW and RFS stood by and made the area safe and waited the arrival of the power company.
