Today Winmalee Pumper and FRNSW responded to a large oil spill on Hawkesbury Rd, Hawkesbury Heights. Crews were in attendance for An hour making the area safe.
Help find our missing 4yr old female English Staffordshire bullterrier. She has been missing from Winmalee in the Blue Mountains since 19 July 2013. She escaped from our fenced yard around lunchtime that day. She was then seen later that day hanging around near the daycare center on singles ridge rd…

Winmalee Rural Fire Brigade added a new photo to the album: Incidents Winmalee RFB have attended.
Winmalee RFB working closely with elements of the 5th Brigade, Royal Australian Army. This picture is of them extinguishing 140 tons of burning mulch, at a local nursery.

If you do a search Michael Borg for the 5th Battalion Royal Australian Army you will find the information relating to the battalion assisting… Serving two tours in Vietnam before joining with the 7th Battalion in 1973..in 2006 the battalion was delinked once again becoming the 5 battalion RAR serving Iraq, Timor and Afghanistan… There motto is duty first and they have well and truly shown this whilst assisting our community we thank them 2013-11-22 12:02:13
Winmalee 1A and Rescue Pumper 445 responded to reports of smoke sightings in Yellow Rock. Crews investigated and found a smoldering log issuing large amounts of smoke. Crews extinguished the log and made the area safe.

Tonight Winmalee 1A and Rescue Pumper 445 responded to a smoke sighting along Hawkesbury Rd Winmalee. Crews investigated and found a small backyard fire admitting a lot of smoke. Fire was put out by resident.
This afternoon Winmalee 1A and Rescue Pumper 445 responded to reports of bush alight in the gully off Singles Ridge Road. Crews investigated and found a nil result.
