This afternoon Winmalee Pumper Alpha, RP445 and police responded to a MVA (car rollover) on Hawkesbury Rd near St Columbus. Crews ensured the area was safe before passing the scene over to police and returning to station.
This is a perfect reminder to drive safely and carefully in wet weather. The vehicle involved was only traveling at low speeds and still the car flipped. Please drive safely, especially when the roads are slippery.
There is a MVA on Hawkesbury Rd near St Columbus school please exercise caution in the area emergency services on scene

Winmalee has now committed a crew of 5 and Winmalee Pumper Alpha to the Bathurst Fire leaving tonight. Crews will be on the fire ground for three days and will return on Thursday. Stay safe all.

Missing. Lilac Burmese cat jumped fence behind house in Hawkesbury Road, Winmalee on Sunday morning into the bush. If found please contact owner on 0458 541 341. He will be very spooked and scared.
FYI Only – State wide Summary – Currently across the State there are 87 Bush fires burning, 25 fires remain uncontained with 4 of these fires at Watch and Act and 2 have Emergency Warnings in Place. A Strike team of Blue Mountains RFS trucks and crews have been assembled and sent to a fire in the Bathurst LGA. There are NO fires currently burning in the Blue Mountains.
This afternoon Winmalee Pumper Alpha and RP445 responded to reports of a gas bottle alight in Hawkesbury Heights. On arrival crews found a small gas bottle fire started from a gas BBQ. A small pile of rubbish next to the BBQ was also alight. The resident cooled the bottle and fire until crews arrived. Crews put out the fire and made the area safe. Winmalee 1A was stood down enroute.

Tonight Winmalee Pumper and RP445 responded to reports of bush alight at Yellow Rock. Crews investigated with nothing found.
This morning Winmalee 1A was responded to reports of a pile burn along Singles Ridge Road. Crews investigated and nothing was found.

This 80 series Landcruiser was stolen from Blaxland last night it had different plates reading OX960 if anyone knows of the where abouts or has any information pertaining to the location of this vehicle please contact Blue Mountains Police or Simeon Ross
