Tonight Winmalee Pumper Alpha and RP445 responded to reports of a yard fire off Singles Ridge Road.

We have been pretty quiet on our Facebook page as of late. But behind the scenes we have been extremely busy training and assisting the community when ever the call comes in. We also have been working hard to finalise plans for our new Yellow Rick Fire station, after it was lost in the October fires.

Today Winmalee RFB had a busy day with a call to a MVA on Hawkesbury Rd, they also responded to 2 Automatic Fire Alarms within Winmalee.

Last night Winmalee Pumper responded to a car fire, with possible fire extension to the roof of a house. RFS crews extinguished the car and extinguished a minor fire in the roof of the house.

Tonight Winmalee Pumper, RP445 and NSW Police responded to reports of a power pole alight in Linnet Street, Winmalee. Crews investigated and found a fuse had tripped, no fire was found. Electrical authorities were called.
