Here is the predicted Fire Danger map for Tomorrow –

FYI – Due to the predicted strong winds tomorrow this will increase the fire danger rating to VERY HIGH around the Blue Mountains and Sydney Region.

Earlier Winmalee 1A, RP445, T445 and NSW Police responded to a large pile Burn in the Yellow Rock area. Crews arrived and extinguished the pile.

Tonight Winmalee Pumper, Winmalee 1A (on standby), RP445, NSW Ambulance and NSW Police responded to reports of a house alight in Ridgeview Close, Winmalee. A small fire was extinguished and crews rendered the area safe.

This Saturday and Sunday Winmalee RFB will be assisting Faulconbridge RFB to complete a large HR around the area of Tom Hunter Park. There will be numerous fire appliances on scene and smoke will be visible in Winmalee and surrounds from this Burn. Please share with people who may be affected.

Just before midnight on Wednesday Winmalee Pumper, Winmalee One Alpha & One Bravo Tankers along with 3 FRNSW appliances from Springwood & Glenbrook attended a house fire on Hawkesbury Road Springwood. Police & Ambulance were also in attendance as the fire was extinguished and the scene made safe.

Tonight Winmalee Pumper and a crew of 5 attended Yarramundi Rural Fire Brigade for some joint training. A very educational session was had by all who attended. Thanks Yarramundi RFB for the invite.

Tonight Winmalee 1B and RP445 responded to a backyard fire along Hawkesbury Rd, Winmalee. Crews were in attendance for a short time.
