A severe thunderstorm warning has now been issued for the Central Tablelands, Greater Sydney Region and other parts of the NSW. Storm cells are currently on the Radar North West of the Blue Mountains and are tracking South East.

Today Winmalee PC and crew assisted NSW Police Rescue, FRNSW and other RFS Brigades in a carry out of an injured walker in Springwood.

Last night Winmalee Pumper and Springwood Fire & Rescue responded to reports of smoke coming out of a air conditioner unit, along Argyle Road, Winmalee . Crews investigated and found all was safe.

Earlier today Winmalee Pumper and RP445 responded to a mains gas leak along Sunset Blvd, Winmalee. Crews closed the road and commenced fire protection and waited the arrival of the Gas Company.
