Yesterday Winmalee RFB and FRNSW conducted joint training together. This training consisted of Communications, Safety, truck and equipment familiarisation and much more.
This type of training is important and helps maintain a professional working relationship between the two services.

Today Winmalee Pumper, 1B and Springwood Fire & Rescue responded to a Automatic Fire Alarm, down Leslie Street, Winmalee. Crews investigated and found a false alarm.

15 minutes into the New Year and Winmalee 1A and Springwood Fire & Rescue NSW were paged and responded to reports of Bush alight behind Winmalee High School. A small fire was located and crews extinguished the fire.

Today Winmalee 1 Alpha and FRNSW responded to reports of smoke along Singles Ridge Road and Long Angle Road, Yellow Rock. Crews investigated and found a Nil result.
