Winmalee recently joined other brigades in the Blue Mtns to host a Community Engagement EXPO at Faulconbridge Rural Fire Brigade Station. Over 40 members attended from brigades across the district including Mt Wilson & Mt Tomah to gather in small groups and discuss community engagement techniques that might be applied back in their home village. Facilitated by the District Community Engagement Group the evening was a great success and members went away with new tools and ideas to help residents become more resilient during major emergencies. A second EXPO is planned for later in 2015
