FYI – A strike team has been assembled by Blue Mountains RFS crews, and has left the Mountains at 1930hrs tonight. These crews will be assisting with Storm and Flooding damage in the Pittwater area.

Here is an update on transport, if you are waiting for family to come home, there will be delays.

Yarramundi Bridge was still open as at 3.50pm. However this may change, please check the live traffic site for information. We will attempt to keep you updated.

With the wild weather we have been experiencing, here is a timely reminder to delay any planned bush walking trips until the creeks and trails are less waterlogged…conditions can change dramatically in a short time and being caught out in these conditions can unnecessarily place lives at risk.
