FYI Only – Likely snow falls for this weekend.

This weekend is going to be interesting! It’s going to be extremely cold, snow possibly down to 600m, very windy and rain. This is from a large Artic low that will cross the State. A East Coast Low may also Form. Snow is likely on Saturday but the majority looks like it will fall on Sunday.
So with all this Please, Please, Please Drive to conditions! Be extremely Careful with your Heaters.
Lastly please don’t bring indoors, any outdoor heaters or cooking appliances to heat the inside of your house. These placed inside, and used, cause a build up of Carbon Monoxide which can be fatal.

Today Winmalee 1 Alpha and PC responded to reports of Bush Alight along Shaw’s Ridge Fire Trail. Crews investigated and extinguished a small campfire that was left smouldering.
