Air support is vital to our operations. Helicopters can be heard during fires, as they drop water on the fire line. They use water sources to fill their buckets. Do you have a static water supply on your property that can be used by either helicopters or ground crews? It can be a swimming pool or dam. The RFS can provide a Static Water Source sign (SWS) that can be placed in a visible location so crews are aware that water is available.
