Today was thankfully quiet in Winmalee and Surrounds. Crews from Mountain Brigades were out Patrolling the fire at Greens Rd.
But still please be vigilant we are in for a few more days of high Temperatures.

Both of these sites are via BMCC (Blue Mtns City Council) so Richmond would not be included. The wind direction at the time I took the screen shot was from the Nth but predominantly from the NW.

Winmalee RFB along with numerous other fire brigades have spent the day back burning and mopping up.
Both Winmalee RFB trucks have been stood down and have returned for a quick truck overhaul, then we will be back out again for the night shift tonight.
