Today Winmalee PC and crew assisted NSW Police Rescue, FRNSW and other RFS Brigades in a carry out of an injured walker in Springwood.

Last night Winmalee Pumper and Springwood Fire & Rescue responded to reports of smoke coming out of a air conditioner unit, along Argyle Road, Winmalee . Crews investigated and found all was safe.

Earlier today Winmalee Pumper and RP445 responded to a mains gas leak along Sunset Blvd, Winmalee. Crews closed the road and commenced fire protection and waited the arrival of the Gas Company.

FYI Only – there is currently a black out in the Yellow Rock Area.

Be aware storms are moving through from the west.

FYI – Today the 23rd of November has been declared a Total Fire Ban for the Greater Sydney Region including the Blue Mountains. The Fire Danger rating will be Severe. A Fire Weather Warning has been issued.
