Residents across Greater Western Sydney, the Illawarra, South Coast and Southern Highlands can expect to see helicopters surveying powerlines over the next two months as part of Endeavour Energy’s safety preparations.
The surveys are to prevent bushfires started by the electricity network by identifying faulty equipment or where vegetation is within safety clearances of overhead powerlines.
