Truck Replacement: New Category 1 Tanker
Winmalee took delivery of a new Category 1 Tanker, which now becomes Winmalee 1 Alpha. The old Winmalee 1 Alpha has become Winmalee 1 Bravo and will be stationed out a the Yellow Rock station.
Winmalee currently has a Category 11 Urban Pumper, two Category 1 Tankers and a Personnel Carrier in it's fleet of vehicles.

Santa Run!
Over three days members of Winmalee Rural Fire Brigade assisted Santa in spreading cheer, good will and presents to children in the local area.
Approximately 200 dolls and 2400 bags full of goodies where given out. Santa said that he is happy to see that the members of Winmalee Rural Fire Brigade continually look for ways to give back to their local community and is hoping that he can find time in his busy schedule to do it again in 2011.

Incident Call : St Columbus School Fire
Three units from Winmalee Rural Fire Brigade were responded at approximately 5.20 am on the 21st of December 2010 to assist Fire and Rescue NSW to extinguish a structual blaze in a block of classrooms at the St Columbus School.
Winmalee Rural Fire Brigade crews in Compressed Air Breathing Apparatus (CABA) where immediately deployed to assist crews from Fire and Rescue NSW in direct attack of the fire. Although the majority of the commimtment to the incident wound down around around 11 am that morning, a crew and a truck from Winmalee Rural Fire Brigade remained on scene with a crew from Fire and Rescue NSW for the majoity of the remainder of the day to assist with Fire Investigation.

Annual Door Knock
All the members of Winmalee Rural Fire Brigade would like to thank the communities of Hawkesbury Heights, Yellow Rock and Winmalee for continued generous support for our annual door knock.
Approximately ??? calandars were given out over the course of three days and all monies raised are used pay for runiing costs of vital paging and other communication systems, the purchase and repair of firefighting equipment and catering food for fires and other incidents.
